Common questions
Do you give a price before you start?
Yes. You get a written quote for the work, and we tell you if anything changes once the wall is open.
Will you make a mess?
We drop-sheet, vacuum and take the rubbish with us.
Can you work around a builder's program?
Yes, we regularly coordinate rough-in and fit-off dates with builders and cabinetmakers.
My lights keep tripping. Is that serious?
It is worth looking at. A safety switch tripping is usually it doing its job, and the question is what keeps setting it off: a failing appliance, water in an outdoor circuit, or a fitting on the way out. If it trips and resets fine you have time; if it will not reset, or anything is warm, buzzing or scorched, ring us. Do you take on small jobs?
Yes, though we will be straight with you: a single powerpoint on its own is an expensive way to buy our time, because most of the cost is getting a licensed crew to your door. If you have a list, even a short one, it is far better value to do them in one visit. Tell us everything you have been putting off and we will price the lot.
What if it is urgent?
Call, do not fill in a form. Anything sparking, burning, smoking or live gets switched off at the switchboard first, then ring us on 0410 909 161. We run a 24/7 emergency service, seven days, so it does not matter what time it is.
